“The Jury was out for several days. That’s when the Joker’s mother put the curse on me. She walked around me – staring at me – mumbling. I was fascinated – then her husband – Joker’s father told me that in actuality he had been with his son at the time of the murder he told me how long it had taken him to walk from his home to Joker’s home – he told me tht he wanted to talk to him about Jesus – this being his birthday – but had gotten side tracked and talked instead about Joker’s wife Imelda and her evil ways. Then I went back to court and Imelda testified – she amazing – I believed every word but this time she was living a with a another guy somewhere – she agreed that her daughter – Joker’s child should see Joker but she sweore she would never see hm again – in jail or out of jail – Joker kept on making comments to me during her entire testimony – “lying whore – “she’s got your old old man” in love with her – gets your blood boiling old man? what’s she do for you – do your favors??? you’re fucking it up old man. Imelda survived cross- and then w argued to the jury and the jury went out. I didn’t call the old man to the stand – that’s when the mother put the final curse on me in court and then got thrown out by the bailiff. Jury was out four days – came back – 11-1 for guilty – hopelessly deadlocked. Then the DA came to with a deal – time served. Joker turned it down. Then they let him go. They invited me to their house for a celebration. I tried to avoid it – couldn’t – a pigsty – gas from the stove was the heating system – everyone was surly – three of the six children were in jail – Joker was truly evil. What a relief to get of there . the day after someone shot – and killed Joker.
